As the leader of The Bayou City Team at Compass, Houston real estate expert Eric Nelson personally ensures that every client receives caring, knowledgeable service that adds genuine value to every transaction. In fact, it was his personal experiences buying and selling his own property that made Eric realize the need for compassionate realtors who also know their stuff. Whether he’s helping buyers, sellers or investors, he finds that making an impact on his clients’ lives is immeasurably satisfying.

Eric earned a degree in supply chain and logistics from the University of Houston before spending a decade in Corporate America in project management and process improvement roles. He’s an excellent communicator and a fierce negotiator. With his corporate background, it’s no surprise that clients commend his resourcefulness in making sure they get the best possible deal in the shortest amount of time.

Eric is a native Texan and longtime Houstonian. His wife, Erika, is also a member of The Bayou City Team, and they are proud parents of a young son, Johan, and baby daughter Victoria. When they’re not attending to their clients’ needs, the Nelsons can be found spending family time together or serving their church, Grace Church Garden Oaks.
